Boys Activewear: Sporty AND Stylish
Like Colleen talked about yesterday, there is a fine line between attractive sporty apparel and decor for boys and letting your son walk around looking like he lives in a stadium. Both of our sons are ALL BOY and when they get together they are usually a filthy and sweaty mess after about 15 minutes. Trying to elevate my son from his favorite mesh shorts, Nike SB knee-hi socks and dry-fit tees is no easy task. He dresses for comfort and in preparation of a soccer game breaking out at any minute. Actually impropmptu pick-up games do happen quite frequently as he usually carries a soccer ball with him at all times. Take a look at some pieces I've recently found that combine the comfort he needs with the style and sophistication I crave. The dry-fit Golf polo is a new fave and we now own it in 3 colors. My 9 year old has graduated from the cute preppy and patterned board shorts I love but will agree to a simple striped pair with a longer length like these navy and red basics from J. Crew. The pocket tee from Arizona is also a staple. It comes in a ton of color combos, including solids, and is a really soft cotton that helps ease the daily "running late, please get dressed and can you try and match today" morning battle every time!
